Trump and Clinton win big in Polk County

Republican front runner Donald Trump and Democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton won overwhelmingly in Polk County in their respective Tuesday Presidential Preference Primaries.

Here are the unofficial results for Polk County:

Republican Primary

Donald Trump – 55.6% – 3,360 votes

Ted Cruz – 18.0% – 1,091 votes

Marco Rubio – 15.6% – 944 votes

Ben Carson – 6.5% – 390 votes

Democratic Primary

Hillary Clinton – 68.6% – 944 votes

Bernie Sanders – 29.3% – 403 votes
