ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a recruitment in Cedartown later this month to help Tallatoona Community Action Partnership fill a number of positions for substitute teachers at Head Start schools. The schools are located in Cedartown and Rockmart in Polk County, Rome in Floyd County and Cartersville in Bartow County.
Tallatoona is a federally-funded program that provides educational and other services for children of low income families.
The recruitment will be held Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s Cedartown Career Center located at 262 North Park Blvd.
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma, or General Education Diploma (GED). Those with some teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
