A Bremen woman received only minor injuries when she reportedly struck a parked furniture delivery truck on Buchanan Hwy. (US 27) near the Highway 100 intersection south of Cedartown.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, an Acura MDX driven by Mary Cramer of Bremen was traveling north on Highway 27 near its intersection with Tallapoosa Highway (GA 100) and struck a stationary Rooms-to-Go delivery truck at approximately 7:57 a.m. Thursday morning.
Cramer’s Acura sustained severe damage, one witness describing part of the car had been torn completely away.
However, Cramer suffered only minor injuries and was treated on the scene and did not go to the hospital.
GSP reports said although there is a great amount of sight distance in the area and the truck was highly visible, Miss Cramer failed to see the truck.”
