Polk County Police arrested a Cedartown man earlier this week after a 911 hang up call at a residence.
According to Polk County Police reports, officers responded to the residence on Marie Lane and spoke to a man there who said that his girlfriend and her ex-husband were at his residence and an altercation had occurred where he had been punched by the ex-husband.
However, police observed the bruises on the complainant’s face as being older than the alleged incident.
After speaking to other witnesses, it was determined that the complainant had initiated the fight, which occurred in front of a small child.
