Commissioners honor long-time local optometrist

The Cedartown City Commission Monday night issued a proclamation honoring Dr. Richard Jewell, a local optometrist for his many years of service to the community and to commemorate his retirement. A standing room only crowd of family, friends, and patients all applauded as Dr. Jewell received the proclamation from Chairman Larry Odom.
