The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement, stating that the fog may be locally dense with visibilities reduced to 1/2 mile or less at times.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance in front of you.
This fog will dissipate by mid morning.
A strong disturbance passing through the area will widespread showers and thunderstorms by mid afternoon through the evening hours.
There is a risk of some storms being severe, primarily in the north and west portions of the state with strong winds and large hail the primary threats.
Storms are expected to move through the area between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
