An Esom Hill home was completely destroyed by flames early Tuesday morning, according to Polk County Fire Department officials. The home, located at 485 Brewster Field Road, was a total loss and an investigation is currently underway to discover the cause of the blaze. A volunteer fire unit responded at 3:30 a.m. to the residence to douse the flames. However, at approximately 9:30 Tuesday morning, hot spots apparently reignited the fire and crews had to put out the flames a second time. No one was injured in the blaze. The family is currently staying at a local hotel while the investigation continues.
