An elderly couple that has ties to Cedartown has been the subject of a Mattie’s Call as authorities are still trying to locate them.
Floyd County Police say 83-year-old Willie Pearl Billiot and 77-year-old Demetrius Billiot of Port Sulfer, Louisiana were last seen in northeastern Floyd County on Friday.
They had reportedly set out to visit a family in Ellijay but never arrived.
They had left their cell phone in Floyd County and calls to their Louisiana home were unsuccessful.
According to reports, the Billiots frequently visit Cedartown and Polk County.
Police say that the wife has dementia and her husband has been diagnosed with brain cancer.
They were last seen in a 2006 white and gold Kia Sorento with Louisiana disabled license plate: H358771.
Willie Pearl Billiot is an 83-year-old white female who has gray hair and blue eyes. She stands 5-foot 5-inches and weighs 103 pounds.
Demetrius Billiot is a 77-year-old white male who has gray hair and brown eyes. He is 5-foot 7-inches and weighs 150 pounds.
