The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Cedartown Career Center will host a recruitment Tuesday, Nov. 3, to help Aerotek Commercial Staffing hire about a dozen workers for manufacturing jobs in Cedartown.
The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center located at 262 North Park Blvd. in Cedartown.
The company is recruiting workers to assemble office furniture, chairs and desks.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma and at least one year of experience as an assembler or production worker in a manufacturing environment.
Salaries begin at $11.50 an hour.
The company will conduct a seven-year background check and a drug-screening test.
