GDOL to host recruitment for Ashton Staffing in Cedartown next week ATLANTA — The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Ashton Staffing recruit about 30 workers for several companies in Polk County.
The recruitment will be held Monday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s Cedartown Career Center located at 262 North Park Blvd.
The company will be recruiting manufacturing workers, including lift-truck operators, metal inert gas (MIG) and robotic welders, along with lunchroom personnel.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. Welders and other manufacturing workers must have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED). MIG welders must have at least six months experience. A high school education and some work experience is preferred, but not necessary, for the lunchroom personnel.
Salaries depend on the position and experience.
