A third period thrust by the Armuchee Indians (1-3) on Saturday would prove to be just enough as the Cedartown Bulldogs varsity boys basketball team dropped their second in a row 43-37 at CHS.
Cedartown (2-2) led all the way until the end of the third period.
Thanks to Armuchee’s Drew Cummings five 3-pointers and 17 points, Armuchee would not relinquish the lead the rest of the game and would pick up their first win of the season.
For the Dawgs, TJ Martin ended the game with nine points and senior Walker Barrow had eight points.
The Dawgs and Lady Dawgs will be back in action on Friday against the Coosa Eagles at home.
Cedartown will play Rockmart on Saturday at RHS.
